Project Description : Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is setting up a 15 MMTPA grass root refinery at Paradip in the state of Orissa near Paradip Port, IOCL for meeting storage and handling requirements,  proposed  to install crude oil and finished product storage and handling facilities in the refinery complex on Built-Own- Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis.

Installation, Operation & Maintenance of Crude and Finished product tankages facility, one of the milestones in IVRCL’s track record, this project for IOCL intends to enhance its production considerably

Features:

• Installation 15 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA)
• Entails storage and handling of crude oil & finished products for the proposed refinery complex
• The major units constructed were
• Oil Tank Pads  
• Bullets In 3 mound for storage of LPG and Propylene gas  
• Associated facilities like buildings, pump houses
• Black Top Roads and drains along with all other related Civil foundation like sleepers, pump foundations , dyke walls etc.,
• The major Quantities executed are :
• Bored cast in situ piles   
• Stone Column
• Reinforced Cement Concrete  
• Reinforcement Steel  
• Achieved more than 100 piles a day on three Consecutive days and average of 80 piles as day, using 37,000 Cum of M 30 Grade Concrete

Scope of Work : Detailed Route Survey, corrosion protection coating, on shore above ground piping at Ernakulam Oil Tanker Berths and IOCL Terminal at Irimpanam, Piggable underground piping from Ernakulam Oil Tanker Berths to IOCL Terminal at Irimpanam involving river, road and rail crossings, concrete weight coating, installation of pig launchers and receivers

• Detailed Route Survey, corrosion protection coating, on shore above ground piping 2x600 NB API 5L GRB pipelines
• River, road and rail crossings, concrete weight coating, installation of pig launchers and receivers

Scope of Work :
The project includes complete residual engineering / drawings, hydro-testing, preparation and restoration of ROU, Hazop study, pre-commissioning and final commissioning
Key Quantities:

• The pipeline consist of 12" API 5L Gr. X -65 line pipe from Dispatch station , including hot tapping to receiving station to at CNG station
• Pipe 6" API 5L Gr. X -52 from receiving station to CNG Station
• Pipe 6" API 5L Gr. X -52 to factory and 5 stations in the spurline

Scope of Work: Fabrication and laying of 750 NB & 400NB Cross Country Pipelines for Single Point Mooring (SPM) and Connected facilities for BPCL, Kochi refinery , Kerala.
Key Quantities:

• Fabrication , laying and Hydro Testing of Cross Country pipeline
• Detailed Route Survey, corrosion protection coating, Radio mapping, arranging 5D hot bends
• Concrete weight coating for pipes, laying across roads, drain, minor river and railway tracks.
• Conducting NDP, Pigging flushing and Hydro testing
• Laying of 750 NM pipe including railway crossing
